Welcome to NewLedge® (the ‘Website’). The Website allows you to access and use the NewLedge® Base Program and Platform (the ‘Services’).
The ‘Services’ include a Learning Base and Knowledge Base. These are separate software provided to you integrated under NewLedge® Base.

Privacy Policy
- We respect your privacy. As the manager of the NewLedge® Base program platform (“The Platform”), NewLedge® respects your right to privacy. The following policy outlines a detailed breakdown of how we collect and treat your personal information. “Personal information” is the information we hold, uniquely identifiable as related to each individual user.
- Personal information we may obtain. Depending on the Platform configuration, we may receive personal information from you, including, but not limited to, the following:
- Name, country, state, city
- Company demographic information – e.g.; Company age and/or stage of maturity (start-up, growing, declining) Number of employees
- Psychographic information – e.g. personality, interests, attitudes, behaviours and opinions
- Qualifications and which country and institution you obtained them from
- Your years of work experience in STEMM and unrelated disciplines
- User ideas and comments
- Information related to enquiries made by you.
- How and why we obtain your personal information. We obtain personal information from you in a variety of ways, including interaction with us electronically or in person; when you access our website; and when NewLedge® provides services to you.
- Use of your personal information. We use your information to provide our service to you. We also use it to make ongoing improvements to our service.
We do not provide your information to third parties, except that we may provide your information to service partners, such as platform and security services, who specifically assist in delivering our service to you.
- Consequences of not providing your Personal Information. Primary consequences that result from you not providing certain personal information will depend on the learning program you use, and the requirements of your NewLedge® Partner (usually your mentor/trainer and the organisation they represent). As a broad guideline:
- Basic Registration Information will include your name and email address (typically your company email address), enabling us to register you onto the NewLedge® Base platform and establish direct lines of communication with you throughout the program. Without this, you cannot successfully register and utilise the NewLedge® Base platform (Generally, this means that you will not be able to participate in the program, *check with your NewLedge® Partner).
- An SMS contact number is collected so for the purpose of sending alerts and reminders to your phone. Without this information, you will be unable to receive crucial alerts and notifications from NewLedge® to your phone.
- Additional Registration Information can be configured by your NewLedge® Partner and may include questions surrounding your age, location, gender, year, and course of study. If this information has been made mandatory as part of the registration (i.e., they are “required fields” on the registration form), you will be unable to register or participate in the NewLedge® Base Platform without providing this information. If you have any further questions or concerns, please talk to your program coordinator regarding any of this information.
- Assessments and course submissions provided during the execution of the program can include written assessments, quizzes, and video presentations. These may or may not include Personal Information, depending on the specific program you undertake. Reliant on the specific design of the training program, they may be marked by a trainer. If you fail to provide assessment materials as requested, you may not be able to progress and complete the program. Talk to your NewLedge® Partner if you have any concerns about assessment submissions.
Important Note: please read and adhere to our Acceptable Use Policy when uploading any content to NewLedge® Base. Ensure that you avoid entering Sensitive Information and passwords on the platform. Remember that others, including, trainers, partners and program coordinators may be able to see the content you upload.
- Disclosure of your personal information overseas. The NewLedge® Base Platform is accessible globally. Some or all of your information may be stored or transit overseas in the course of providing our service.
- Security of your personal information. We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information. However, we are not liable for any unauthorised access to this information.
- Access to your personal information. To access and update your personal information, contact us via innovation@newledge.io
- Privacy complaints. If you have any complaints and/or concerns regarding our privacy practices, please feel free to send a detailed report of your complaints to innovation@newledge.io. We take complaints very seriously and endeavour to respond shortly upon receiving written notice of your complaint.
- Changes. Please be aware that this Privacy Policy may be subject to change in the future. Revised versions will be uploaded onto our website, so please check back from time to time.
